Injection Moulding Toolroom Fitter

XCL Group are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company based in the Huddersfield area, who are currently looking for an Injection Moulding Toolroom Fitter, to join their expanding team.

 

The main duties of the job role will be, but not limited to:

• Be responsible for the modification & repair of injection mould tools
• Manufacture and fit new injection mould tools
• Prepare new mould tools for production
• Toolmakers will make use of the standard grinders, millers, CNC and CAD software
• Use of CNC millers, wire eroding and spark eroding machines

 

Experience

• Must have experience in maintenance, repair and modification of injection mould tools
• Experience using high precision machine
• Should understand and have experience in fitting and assembly of complex mould tools including repairs
• Must have experience of manufacturing injection mould tools
• Have the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety
• Experience in general toolmaking, manual milling, turning, grinding, EDM wire and spark erosion.
• CNC Machining experience is an advantage
• Experience of training/ working with apprentices would be advantageous

 

Hours

• 39 hours worked between Monday – Thursday
